Stolen cash, missing Safes and a lot of property damage. Those are the results of what police are calling "a rash of burglaries."
Two suspects hit five local businesses overnight and now the St. George Police want to identify the men they call brazen burglars.
In and out! Tthis surveillance footage shows how aggressively and quickly these suspects work to burglarize local businesses.
These guys took a big risk in committing the crimes they did last night with all the patrol men we have on the street," says SGPD Detective, Chris Trani.
Locksmiths work to repair the front door of Massage Envy this afternoon. It's just one of five linked business burglaries committed overnight.
The clinic administrator at Massage Envy says, "We got a call about one o'clock in the morning. It's just an awful feeling to know people are going through your stuff."
Three businesses in the Stadium 10 parking lot actually fell victim to crime. Police say the suspects hit Massage Envy's neighbor,.Planet Beach and the Bajio restaurant close to 2 am.
"There were a lot of people here, like it was not rare for someone to come by here or something," says Bajio employee, Julia Torres.
Bajio employee, Julia Torres, points out the time her store was burglarized would have been the time the midnight Transformers premiere finished.
Police say the suspects then forced entry into a Chinese Buffet near Costco, and the Parrot Head Island Broiler.
"From what we can see, it's two males breaking into cash registers and stealing safes."
Detective Chris Trani says the suspects may be responsible for up to 10 burglaries in our area.
"We want to get their pictures out so the public can see them and somebody can identify them."
Detective Trani also says the men move quickly, suggesting they are seasoned burglars.
Police hope with such clear footage, it's only a matter of time until police arrest the suspects.
"St. George is a very safe place to live and we are going to keep it that way. We are going to be very diligent in our efforts to apprehend these two people and bring them to justice," says Trani.
If you recognize these men or know anything about these crimes, call 911.
