The Saint George Business and Professional Women named their Woman of the Year this afternoon.
The group made the announcement at their monthly meeting at the Holiday Inn on Bluff.
The BPW is a networking group that raises scholarship money for those in our area looking to go back to school.
They Announced Doctor Joan Eggert, Woman of the Year because of her work in care at Southern Utah Women's Health Center and her devotion to community businesses.
The award was a Surprise to Doctor Eggert, but she said she is just happy to be a part of such a great group of women.
