The Arizona Department of Public Safety has reported a motorcyclist traveling on Interstate 15 in the Virgin River Gorge, crashed and died Saturday Afternoon. Police say 48-year-old Saint George resident Jeffery Alder lost control of his motorcycle at 4:15pm PST.
Alder had been travelling with a friend, who was on a different bike. When he crashed, his friend pulled over to help. Police also say a group of paramedics from Montana were driving north, pulled over, and were at the scene within 30 seconds, but there was nothing they could do.

Arizona Police say the crash happened 18 miles South of Saint George. They will continue to investigate the crash.
