Prescribed Burn Helps Prevent Wildfire

Southern Utah is no stranger to Wildfires,that's why Wild Mountain Fire & Forestry, Inc is doing their part to educate and prevent before the fire season begins.
Last week they held a prescribed burn in Kanab near a residential subdivision. The goal was to have a controlled burn to get rid of the dry vegetation that could be fuel to a wildfire, during the intense fire season.
They hope that with efforts in preventing, the summer months can be easier on firefighters.
