Soup Kitchen Closes, Volunteers Don't Give Up

By Ian Cull

The Saint George Soup Kitchen is in need of a new home.
One Volunteer is assuring the patrons they'll find others ways to feed them even though today, the doors are closing for good.
Richard Rivera is the man trying to make it happen, and is working to continue serving 500 people a week.
Rivera says to keep food on the table for these people the company Prepare-and-Share has stepped up.
They’re asking if you can help in any way to call Rich Rivera at 215-6499.

Some of the things they need:
-Deli Meat whole or sliced
-napkins
-sandwich bags
-box juice/bottled water
-individually wrapped desserts and chips
-food preparation gloves and hair nets
-brown paper bags
-mini celery/carrots
-individually packaged mustard and mayo
-bread
