Employees at the St.George Golf Club say they're thrilled with a new hired hand.
This helper is dedicated to keeping the course pristine for golfers, and gives the term "dogleg" a whole new meaning.
"You know she's just become really popular around here."
"A lot of the golfers, here on the course, know Chelsee."
And if you know her, how do you not love her? She's working her paws to the bone to keep the greens gorgeous.
"We've seen a growth of migrating birds. They make a mess, they are kind of a nuisance."
So the golf course adopted this Australian Shepard to chase unwanted visitors off the grass.
"Since we've had Chelsee, the ducks know that she's there and as soon as you pull up they see her tied to the cart and they head for the water."
Players assistant,Rodney Larsen, says Chelsee loves to run and chase birds, and while she's a hero on the holes, she makes for a great daily companion
"You can talk to Chelsee., course she doesn't talk back and she's a lot for fun to have around.
Besides new friends and a lot of exercise, Chelsee's new job also keeps her out of the pound, something the Golf Course's head pro is happy about.
"The most positive about it is we were able to give a dog a home."
And while the staff loves her, golfers thank her.
"It's really nice, ducks do a lot of damage out on the golf course and make it difficult for golfers.
So, this helpful hound found her home on the driving range.
"She's the new mascot, everyone loves Chlesee."
