Natural Gas Line Broke

By Rachelle Killpack

A broken natural gas line forced authorities to shutdown a street in the Fort Pearce Industrial Park this morning.
The line was ruptured by workers digging a hole for a new power pole.
Questar crews arrived and clamped off the broken line while repairs were made.
The incident helps illustrate why it is so important for anyone doing any digging to check for underground lines, before they begin their work.
The number to call throughout Utah to find out about underground utility lines is 811.
