(St. George, UT) - The Dixie Technical Association will hear from Mike Green, CEO of G.O. Green Enterprises, Inc. at their Tech Friday meeting, Friday, October 5 at noon in the Dixie State College Dunford Auditorium.

G.O. Green Enterprises, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Garth Green as the DBA Southwest Plumbing Supply, and had one employee. Thanks to an innovative management team and the optimization of technology, they are now 87 employees in 12 buildings. Of these, seven buildings and 69 employees are located in Cedar City.

In 2004, the company invested in a million dollar software package for managing all aspects of the business including internet sales. By continuing to develop the software, they were able to supplement their wholesale/retail store sales by creating a major marketing and distribution division for online businesses.

In recent years, Mike Green has developed a management training program focusing on the potential of the company's successful internet business, as well as expanding its services to web development, marketing, call center support, and order fulfillment. It now operates on nearly a dozen online companies, and 15+ plumbing web sites and other sales platforms.

The Dixie Technical Association, established in 2008, is a network of information technology professionals, inventors, and other technology specialists working in southern Utah. Dixie Techs’ Chairman Joshua Aikens said, “We seek to create future possibilities in southern Utah's knowledge economy.”

Guests and the public are welcome to attend and should RSVP by emailing mehrenberg@dixie.edu. Admission is free.
