(St. George, UT) - Kneaders Bakery and Café serving gourmet sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries and European hearth breads baked daily in the on-site hearthstone ovens, has officially opened its new location at 199 North Bluff Street in St. George.

Kneaders’ St. George location is operated by Andrew and Shauna Smith and partners Lowell and Kathy Hansen. Smith, Kneaders’ four-state development agent said, “We are incredibly excited about bringing Kneaders to this great community. We think that the Kneaders store in St. George is a great addition to the city," he said.

The first Kneaders Bakery and Café was opened in Orem, Utah in 1997 by Colleen and Gary Worthington. The franchise now consists of 13 operating locations including 11 in Utah and two in Yuma, Arizona The St. George location is one of three new restaurants the company plans to open in 2011. There other locations include Layton, Utah and Meridian, Idaho.
