(Cedar City, UT) - There is autumn in the air – a time for beauty. And there is nothing more beautiful than exquisite bowls created by SUU’s Ceramics Guild. This October make a date to attend the Guild’s Annual Bowl Sale. The purchase of each bowl comes with a delicious choice of soup or chili. This colorful event takes place Wednesday through Friday, October 24 through 26, 2012, 10am-2pm in the Living Room of the Sharwan Smith Center. The sale is open to the general public who are encouraged to attend.

All bowls for purchase are created by the skilled members of SUU’s Ceramics Guild. These handcrafted bowls are not only functional but are wonderful works of art. These items are all completely finished with glazes that are food safe and contain no lead.

The proceeds from the event go to support the visiting artist program in Ceramics and to teach a useful form of professional activity to Ceramics majors. Another major purpose is to raise funds to support student trips to the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts annual conference.
