The Tigers got outstanding play from quarterback Taylor Parker and running back Weston Yardley, and its defense smothered Desert Hills’ offensive attack.
At Walt Brooks Stadium, Dixie jumped out to a 24-10 lead over the Warriors but surrendered two 4th quarter touchdowns to Snow Canyon and had to hold on for the win. Quarterback Blake Barney threw for 211 passing yards in the first half alone to help the Flyers establish the lead.
