(St. George, UT) - Ruben Garcia, Executive Director of Dixie Care and Share, attended the Wade Family Foundation Chili Cook-Off and expressed appreciation for the foundation's support to non-profit organizations throughout the community.

More than 130 employees of the Stephen W. Wade companies enjoyed the results of successful Chili Cook-off fundraising lunch Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 11:30AM – 1:30PM. Those attending could eat all they wanted for $5.00 a plate with all of the proceeds donated to Dixie Care and Share.

Monty Magleby, Executive Director of the Wade Family Foundation, sponsor of the event, said fifteen (15) Wade company employees prepared their Chili Cook-Off secret-recipes which raised over $500.00 for Dixie Care and Share.

The Wade Family Foundation Chili Cook-Off winner was Dell Webb, who works at Stephen W. Wade Chevrolet-Cadillac. Webb will serve as a judge in the fifth annual Dixie Care and Share Chili Cook-Off slated for Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Town Square in St. George, Utah from 11:00AM until the chili is gone. Fifteen restaurants are cooking up their favorite chilli recipes in the annual event with all of the proceeds donated to Dixie Care and Share.

The Wade Family Foundation offers CPR and other life-saving training as a community service. The foundation recently begun support of the Resource & Re-Entry Center, mentoring former inmates in successfully re-entering society.
