2010 Jubilee of Trees Focuses on Breast Cancer Awareness and Support (DRMC photo)
The Jubilee of Trees began in 1981, organized by the "Pink Ladies", a group of volunteers at Dixie Regional Medical Center. The first year was a simple tree display in a hotel convention center on St. George Boulevard. The proceeds of the event sponsored by The Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center which provides for needed healthcare services in the Washington County area. The 2010 Jubilee of Trees is focused on breast cancer awareness and support at Dixie Regional Medical Center.
The traditional Christmas colors of red and green have turned to pink in a spectacular showcase of custom designed full size Christmas trees, mini and tabletop trees, holiday wreaths, gingerbread houses and seasonal decor at this year's Jubilee of Trees which began Thursday and continues through Monday.
