  • American Red Cross Introduces New Full Time Employee in St. George

    (St. George, UT) - The American Red Cross is pleased to introduce Margie Woodruff, Development and Community Relations Director for the St. George and surrounding areas. She joins the Utah Region of the American Red Cross which provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies.

    Woodruff comes to the Red Cross with over 20 years of experience working in educational settings and managing non-profit organizations. She helped launch successful start-up organizations and has strengthened educational foundations in Arizona, Northern California, and Colorado.

    The native Nebraskan began her career as a teacher and transitioned into fundraising management. In her most recent position she served as Foundation Manager for Douglas County Libraries Foundation in Colorado. Margie Woodruff always becomes personally and professionally involved in the community she resides within. She is looking forward to raising and strengthening the profile of the American Red Cross in St George.
