  • Homicide Victims Identified in St. George Shooting - Two Suspects in Custody

    (St. George, UT) - Jerrica Christensen, 20, of Leeds and Sue Dawn Jerden, 27 of St. George are dead following an early morning shooting Saturday in which James Fiske, 28 of St. George was shot in the shoulder, hospitalized, treated and released Sunday.

    St. George Police arrested Brandon Perry Smith, 29 and Paul Ashton, 31 both of St. George. Smith is booked into the Purgatory Correctional facility charged with two counts of murder and assault. Ashton was booked charged with attempted murder and two counts of murder.

    Police received a call about 3:15AM reporting gun shots in the Sunrise Village townhomes at 575 South Main, St. George Police Sgt. Craig Harding said "When police arrived they found three victims; two females dead and a male with a gunshot wound."

    St. George police detectives are continuing their investigation into what appears to be a drug-related incident.
