  • SKF Polyseal Receives Patriot Award for Employer Support of Guard and Reserve

    (La Verkin, UT) - The ESGR Patriot Award was presented to Dawn McDowell, Production Manager of SKF Polyseal, a leading manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic seals with a plant in La Verkin, Utah. The presentation made Monday by Mel Osborn, Employer Support Coordinator and Dallin Nielsen, Region Chairman for ESGR was made during a shift change at the manufacturing facility.

    Army Specialist Daniel Morris, a member of C Battery 222nd Field Artillery, of Beaver Utah, nominated Dawn McDowell for the award. He works at SKF Polyseal and has received full support to attend weekend drills and additional training from the manager and co-workers at the company. Morris nominated plant manger Dawn McDowell for the Patriot Award. SKF Polyseal has signed a Statement of Support for Guardsman and Reservist that work for the company.

    ESGR is a volunteer organization thru the Department of Defense that educates employers and soldiers about the Uniform Services Employment Reemployment Rights Act.
