    died 2011-2-7
(St. George, UT) - The sweet and caring soul of our mother Gwen left this earth on February 7, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 1, 1934 in Santa Clara, Utah to Levi Snow and Golda Isabel Hafen. She was raised in Pine Valley, Utah in the summer and St. George in the winters. She attended Dixie High School and Dixie College where she developed lifelong friendships with many of her classmates. She married Gary Iverson on March 25, 1953 and together they had three daughters. Gwen and Gary later divorced but continued to celebrate holidays and family events together. Gwen worked as a secretary and accountant throughout her life. She worked for Bills Best, Elmer Fox, ending her 34 year career with Carter and Kemp, now Hinton Burdick, in July 2010.

Gwen was an active and faithful member of the LDS Church and she lived every day, as an angel in human form, blessing each person who was in contact with her. She dedicated her life to her family, enriching our lives with all the light and love of the Creator himself. Her special gift was giving of herself to her family, friends and neighbors. She had a true and genuine care and concern for others, always putting their needs above her own. She loved going to Pine Valley and spending time with family and friends. She loved the Utah Jazz and she was the number one fan of whatever teams her grandchildren or great-grandchildren played on. She loved her work and considered her coworkers her second family.

Gwenn is survived by her three daughters: Lori (Ken) Deal, Toni Klingonsmith, Teri Iverson (Skeith); her eight grandchildren: Tyson (Jenn) Deal, Keni Kae Deal, Zach (Stacia) Klingonsmith, Isaac (Lisa) Klingonsmith, Seth (Nonie) Klingonsmith, Keenan Iverson (Tara), Jordyn Hutchinson (Adam) and Mallory Gwendolyn Iverson: 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters: Cherril Lloyd and Valery Catt and a sister-in-law, Jewel Snow Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Erle Snow and Burton Snow, 1 sister, Roma Baldwin, one son-in-law, Kirt Klingonsmith and two brother-in-laws, David Lloyd and Dick Catt.

Funeral services will be at the St. George LDS Chapel at 400 E. and 100 S. on Saturday, February 12th at 11 am. Visitations will be on Friday, February 11th from 5 to 7 pm at the Spilsbury Mortuary and again on Saturday at the LDS chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 am
