(St. George, UT) - Linda Marie Bryant Olds, 62, passed away peacefully at her home on February 17, 2011. Linda was born January 14, 1949 in St. George to Randall and Maxine Bundy Bryant. Linda married Ellis Olds on April 15, 1967, and they spent 44 wonderful years together.

Linda’s family moved around a lot when she was young. They returned to St. George where she attended Woodward Jr. High. Years later Linda earned her high school diploma through the adult program and was very proud of her accomplishment. Linda was a hard worker. She worked as a waitress, motel housekeeping inspector, and in the assembly of electronic parts. Linda was recognized as employee of the month and top producer several times.

Linda loved her family more than anything and loved to make things for them. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and making fresh jam with her granddaughters every summer. She made baby quilts by the dozens. Linda often smiled and said “all babies need to be warm.” The more she gave away, the happier she was.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ellis Olds of St. George, her aunt who raised her, Lois Bundy of Battle Mountain, NV, her uncle Fred Bundy of Mount Trumbull, AZ, her brothers and sisters: Bill Bryant (Ruby), of Battle Mountain, NV; Wendell Bundy (Paula) of Orem, UT; Marvin Bundy of Salt Lake City, UT; Judy Andreozzi of Battle Mountain, NV; Lyman Bundy Jr. (Patsy) of St. George; Robert Bundy (Brenda) of Richmond, VA; and Pamela Loader (Bill) of Washington, UT; her children all from St. George: Deana Wright (Lance), Crystal Emley (Marc), Rowdy Olds (Jana), Wendy Baird (Tom); her grandchildren: Miranda and James Wright, Tyker, Olivia, Alexis, Jayger, and Brody Olds, Tommy Baird, and Kristen Kramer (Tyson); and her great grandchildren Miles and Ellieana Kramer.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Bundy Bryant, her uncle who raised her, Lyman (Joe) Bundy and uncles Merrill and Karl Bundy, her brother Jimmy Bryant and her sisters Shirley (Turk) Bryant and Julie Bundy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00am at the Snow Canyon 6th Ward Chapel, 1610 N Dixie Downs Road, St. George, UT.
