(St. George, UT) - Ralph Lloyd Spinden, 89 passed away in his home on Monday, March 21, 2011. Ralph was born on October 20, 1921 in Preston, Idaho to Earnest and Lucille Spinden. He served our country in WWII in the Army, where he received the American Theater of Operations service Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon and the Victory Medal. He was a very honest man who had high integrity. Ralph was a hard worker who worked for the Rail Road for 42 years. He enjoyed golfing and had a very dry whit about him.
Ralph is survived by his son: Robert Spinden and three daughters: Linda R. Spinden-Waters, Terry J. Hadley, and LeeAnn Spinden. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
