    (St. George, UT ) - Doris L. Smeele, age 80, passed away in St. George, Utah on Friday April 22, 2010. She was born to Gustav Eklund and Selma Bergins in the city of Chicago, Illinois on June 8, 1930. She married Roy Smeele in 1948 and they were together for fifty-sevenyears until his passing in 2005. They had two children. In 1994 she and her husband moved to St. George.

    Doris is survived by her children, Roger (Ruth) Smeele and Dawn Pitts; grandchildren, Christine (Rick) Reese, Ryan, Brad and Melissa, Kenneth, Angela and Thomas; great-grandchildren, Lily and Calliope and her companion Joe Pace.

    On Monday, April 25th visitation will begin at 5pm with the Memorial service at 6pm in the Spilsbury Mortuary on 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, Utah
