Ironman has an agreement with NBC's Universal Sports to exclusively video stream Ironman events thus prohibiting local "Live" coverage. NBC video coverage is well produced and gives viewers an up close and personal slant on the triathlon event. Here's their link http://www.universalsports.com/triathlon/index.html

KCSG Television was likely not considered by the race prompters and local race organizers. It's obvious they opted for a Salt Lake TV station as a co-sponsor. The Ironman race is big city stuff EXCEPT when they need volunteers! Haven't you noticed!
