(St. George, UT) - St. George police arrested and charged Colter Maggard, 24 of Washington City, Utah, Monday June 6, 2011, with a home burglary in the Artesia sub-division. St. George police public information officer Johnny Heppler said Tuesday that police are also seeking Lonnie Unruh, 34, of St. George in connection with the burglary.

Thieves broke into a residence in Artesia last week while the homeowners were out of town stealing approximately $20,000.00 in property. Among the items stolen were three (3) motor scooters, tools, electronic appliances and equipment, and a variety of other household items including furniture and artwork. Detectives following leads linked Unruh and Maggard to the burglaries and obtained a search warrant for a residence at 1394 North 2020 West in St. George. Officers found multiple items taken in the Artesia home burglary.

Maggard was already confined to the Washington County jail on drug charges by another agency. St. George police added additional charges of burglary and theft.

St. George detectives are seeking Lonnie Unruh in connection with their investigation. If you have any information where Unruh may be located, please contact the St. George Police Department at (435) 627-4300.
