(Cedar City, UT) - Employers Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) hosted "Boss Lift" in May for 43 employer representatives and civic leaders. A Utah National Guard KC-135 Stratotanker picked up the ESGR group at the Cedar City airport for a once in a lifetime experience of watching a mid-air refueling mission by the Stratotanker of an Air Force C-17 Globemaster at 23,000-feet. KCSG's Ben Tanner provides these photos of the event.

Forty-three (43) employer representatives with municipal and county leaders experienced a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Guard in action Monday during a mid-air refueling mission.

Dallin Nielsen, chair of the Southern Utah Employers Support for the Guard and Reserve, welcomed employer representatvies to "Boss Lift" and expressed appreciation to the many employers who support the guardsmen and reservists in their deployment.

ESGR was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve component members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment. ESGR operates through the service thousands of volunteers throughout the nation and Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
