Desert Hills girls soccer is in its infancy but they know playoff experience. They have qualified for the 3A playoffs two years in a row now.

Coach Shaley Allen has created some traction with the young program, and one of the ways she is conditioning her team this year is by playing a very respectable preseason schedule.

Allen will be leaning on a short list of seniors to help push for an improved 2011. Emily Brown, Brittany Hansen, Berkley Bundy, Ali Wagner, Jill Cole, and Brooke Hansen are the 12th-graders who set the tone and who want to make a third 3A playoff appearance in their last prep seasons.
