(St. George, UT) - A pharmaceutical company is announcing a reward for information about a medicine robber southern Utah officials say is bold and potentially dangerous.

Purdue Pharma is offering up $5,000 for tips in the crimes as part of its RxPatrol initiative to stop pharmacy theft.

St. George police say they are looking for a man they believe is responsible for four drug heists at pharmacies in August and September.

The most recent incident was shortly after 6:00PM August 18 at a Smith's pharmacy in St. George. The suspect came in through the front door, showed a handgun and passed a note demanding drugs. He fled with an undisclosed amount of prescription medicine.

Police are looking for a white man who was wearing a fisherman hat and a surgical mask.
