Let's begin with the basics of emergency preparedness for you and your family to BE PREPARED:
1. Emergency Supply Kit Checklist.
2. Develop a Family Emergency plan.
3. Stay Informed
4. Get Involved.
a. Become an active member of a Community Emergency Response Team. CERT, is a training program that prepares you to help yourself, family, and neighbors in the even of a disaster.
b. Become a volunteer in the Utah Citizen Corps whose mission is to harness the power of every individual through education, training, and volunteer service to make communities safer, stronger, and better prepared for emergencies and disasters of all kinds.
c. Become a trained volunteer of the American Red Cross to help serve in our community and the nation. Being a Red Cross volunteer is an enriching experience.

Remind your family, friends, clients, and fans, particularly at a time when natural disasters are on the rise, that a photographic inventory of all their belongings, big and small, can be a lifesaver in the event their home is ever lost to fire, flood, or other disasters.
And maybe one day be their hero!
As part of September’s Disaster Preparedness Month, DocuHome is offering it’s home inventory software for FREE.
