Mike Thompson, SkyWest Airlines vice president of Market Development said, "With the fleet flexibility we enjoy, SkyWest Airlines is pleased to offer jet service to our Cedar City passengers. We have seen increased passenger support in Cedar City, and this new jet service is just one more great reason to fly local."
SkyWest Airlines will begin operating two daily Delta Connection jet roundtrips on January 4, 2012. Passengers may begin booking their flights on October 1, 2011 at www.delta.com or by calling Delta reservations at (800) 221-1212. The best fares are always online.
Each 50-passenger CRJ200 is outfitted with state-of-the-art safety technology and is designed to be one of the most comfortable aircraft in its class. Jet service means shorter flight time between Cedar City and Salt Lake City and more passenger access to hundreds of daily departures at one of Delta Air Lines’ largest hubs in Salt Lake City.
The current flight schedule and service onboard the Embraer-manufactured EMB 120 Brasilia will continue through the end of 2011. The jet service will begin in January 2012.
