Virgin Valley Bulldogs Shutout Boulder City Eagles 14-0

(Mesquite, NV) - Virgin Valley's Junior Toscano returned the opening kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown Saturday night helping defeat the Boulder City Eagles, 14-0.

Bulldog Trevor Thompson rushed for an 11-yard touchdown in the first quarter for Virgin Valley (5-1). The two first quarter touchdowns were all both teams were able to score for the night.

Virgin Valley gained onl 176-yards total offense while holding the Eagles (1-4) to 3-12 passing for 21 yards while Boulder City's Tyler Washburn rushed for 77-yards on 12 carries.

Next week the Bulldogs (5-1) host the Green Valley Gators (3-2) Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 7:00PM. The Gators defeated Coronado Saturday, 45-28
