Brown, a sole occupant, was ejected through the sun roof of his 2001 Oldsmobile Alero after it swerved off the road and flipped upside down.
UHP Sgt. Dan Ferguson said that if Brown had been wearing a seat belt, he likely would have survived the accident. Instead, he was taken to the Dixie Regional Medical Center and subsequently life flighted to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas where he died.
An investigation by the UHP continues into the cause of the accident which does not appear to be alcohol or drug related.
