Witnesses said a man entered the bank at 144 East Brigham Road, approached an employee branishing a weapon demanding money. The suspect took one of the employees car keys and left with an unspecified amount of cash and drove away in the employee's car wich was found abandoned nearby.
The St. George Police and FBI Agents are investigating the robbery. Authorities have released a description of the the suspect said to be a 20-30 year old Hispanic male with an accent. he was wearing khaki colored pants, a white hooded coat with a dark colored stripe across the front and sleeves. He wore black gloves, a dark colored bandana across his face and brown shoes.
Authorities have asked anyone with information regading the robbery to call police at (435) 627-4300.
