Brittney Bisgrove signed to play golf for Dixie State College's new women's golf team.
Shanna Adamiak will help get DSC's women's golf program off the ground in 2012.
Madalynne Fedoruk completed the three Dixie State College signees to the women's golf program on Monday.
Coach Harmon said, “I’m very excited about the future of our program and the caliber of players that have chosen Dixie State.”
Brittney Bisgrove of Mckinleyville, California signed with DSC and will help to propel the new ladies golf program. Bisgrove had numerous wins this season as a prep golfer and advanced into the North Coast Section playoffs earning All-County honors.
"Brittney brings a great skill-set to our program,” Harmon said. “She is a winner, a leader, and a great student of the game. I am excited for Brittney's collegiate career here at Dixie State and I expect great results from her game"
Shanna Adamiak is from Sonora, California. During her high school days, she qualified for the Northern California Regionals all three years. She is currently playing for College of the Canyons in Southern California. In 2010, Adamiak helped her team qualify for the state championships where they placed 2nd.
Coach Harmon said, "Shanna is bringing collegiate experience to our program. She knows what it takes to compete at this level, and will be a great asset to her fellow teammates. Shanna has a positive attitude in all aspects of life and it carries over into her game."
The third DSC signee is Madalynne Fedoruk from Riverside, California. She currently goes to Riverside Poly High School. Fedoruk has competed in impressive events during her junior career, including the Junior World at Torrey Pines where she carded a hole in one during the tournament. Fedoruk placed 2nd at the girls’ state championships for her high school.
“Maddy is a hard worker and has great playing experience,” Harmon said. “She is bringing a great knowledge of the game to our program. Maddy has an outgoing personality that will have such a positive impact in a team atmosphere."
The Red Storm women’s golf team is set to begin play in the fall of 2012.
