    (St. George, UT) - The Remote Possibilities Radio Control Club (RPRCC) is hosting the 34th Annual Presidents Day Fly-in this weekend Thursday, February 23 - 26th at the club's new field located at 3780 South 1550 West in St. George. (map) The public is invited to enjoy non-competition flying and visit with pilots who enjoy the comradery of one another flying their latest Radio Control model airplane.

    Dan Johnson, club president told KCSG News, the group formed in 1986 for fun and the enjoyment of southern Utah's outdoors expects more than 60 participants to demonstrate their aviation models during the fly-in.

    Model airplane enthusiasts from all over the west are in St. George with their radio control model airplanes to participate in the fly-in from 9:00AM to 5:00PM daily and 9:00AM to Noon Sunday.

    Johnson, who has been flying model airplanes since he was four-years old, is the president of an 85-member club comprised of beginners to advanced pilots with a wide range of vocational and personal backgrounds.

    It's a special experience to watch men and their families flying radio-control model aircraft ranging from electric park flyers to scale jets real turbine engines, he said.
