(St. George, UT) St. George – Six local legislators will report on the 2012 General Legislative Session at the monthly luncheon meeting for Washington County Republican Women on Thursday, April 5. The forum will begin at 11:30AM at the Dixie Convention Center, 1835 Convention Center Drive in St. George.

The lawmakers participating include Senator Steve Urquhart, Senator Casey Anderson, Representative Don Ipson, Representative Brad Last, Representative Mike Noel and Representative Lowry Snow. Each will highlight recently passed legislation important to Washington County and answer questions.

Citizens who would like to gain a better understanding of the legislative process and where these elected representatives stand on certain issues should attend this forum.

The Washington County Republican Women have been active in local politics and in community service for over 50 years. They work to promote an informed public through political education including guest speakers, candidate forums and debates. Any Republican woman age 18 or over may join, and men may join as associate members.
