Zions Bank Robber Apprehended by St. George Police

(St. George, UT) - Shortly before 5:00PM Tuesday, the Zions First National Bank branch located at 1930 West Sunset Boulevard was robbed. With information quickly gathered by police dispatchers, the suspect was located driving his vehicle on Old Highway 91 near Ivins.
The suspect Patrick Joseph Swift, 57 of Ivins, was taken into custody by St. George police, charged with robbery and booked into the Purgatory Correctional Facility where bail was set at $10,000.
St. George Police Investigators and FBI are continuing their investigation. The amount taken in the robbery or whether a weapon was used was not disclosed.
