(St. George, UT) - The e-business news letter HealthExecNews.com recently named Dixie Regional Medical Center to their list of The 25 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the World.

According to an article published in healthexenews.com, the top 25 hospitals in the world were selected by architects who considered interior and exterior features and facility health-promoting qualities. Designs including warm woods and nature-inspired elements, soft color schemes, and exterior facades designed with regards to their natural settings placed these hospitals on the list.

Other hospitals listed in the top 25 are located in the United States, China, Austria, Panama, Australia, Switzerland, Lebanon, the Philippines, England, Thailand and Dubai.

Terri Kane, Dixie Regional’s CEO and administrator said, “I can’t tell you how many people from outside the area send e-mails and letters about how beautiful our hospital is. The beauty of our facility is appreciated by a great number of those who visit.” Although Kane enjoyed learning of this ranking, she is quick to emphasize that providing compassionate, top-quality care is Dixie’s focus.
