The joint announcement by Ed Merrifield, General Manager of KCSG Television and Tanya Vea, Vice President of KSL News and Cross Platform Development, said the long standing association between the stations provides a strategic opportunity for KSL-TV to increase market recognition with co-branded KSL-KCSG News and weather tailored for KCSG Television viewers by KSL-TV News Specialists.
KCSG Television viewers continue to enjoy the KSL-TV Weather team forecasts broadcast nine (9) times daily co-branded with KCSG Television.
"The partnership is an example of a strategic relationship that mutually benefits both stations in the new era of evolving digital technology empowering broadcasters to deliver services that are important to consumers," Merrifield said. "KSL-TV News and Weather on KCSG Television is another important step in the growing KSL-KCSG Television partnership."
"KSL is thrilled to partner with KCSG and we look forward to providing additional content, utilizing the combined resources of KCSG and KSL for southern Utah viewers," Vea said.
