(St. George, UT) - The hospital foundation’s annual Rulan D. Woodbury Jubilee Classic Charity Golf Tournament and Evening Classic social kick off May 16th -18th, providing golfing at two of southern Utah’s premier golf destinations and a relaxing evening of fine cuisine and entertainment—all to advance critical life-saving services at Dixie Regional.

Pre-play, the Evening Classic –Wednesday, May 16th @ 6:00 p.m. in the Dixie Convention Center – offers the chance to mix, mingle and enjoy fine dining and auctions with unique items and great get-away packages. This year, featured guest speaker will be PGA Champions Tour Winner (and Dixie's own) Jay Don Blake.

On May 17th and 18th, Entrada at Snow Canyon County Club and Valderra Golf Club at The Ledges will host tournament play, luncheons and awards ceremonies.

Each year, the Foundation of Dixie Regional’s Rulan D. Woodbury Jubilee and Evening Classic provide critical philanthropic support for Dixie Regional Medical Center.

In 2012, funds raised by these events will support elevating Dixie Regional’s trauma center designation in conjunction with launching the Southern Utah Neurological Institute. Closer-to-home access to advanced services will mean time saved and lives saved for the hundreds of head trauma and stroke patients currently being flown long distances to receive care.

The Evening Classic still has limited seating available. Tickets are $50.00 per person. For information or tickets, call The Foundation at (435) 251-2480 or click www.dixieregional.org/foundation
