(St. George, UT) - The recall election of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker prompted by labor unions opposed to the Governor's election pledge to balance the state budget and The recall election of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was prompted by labor unions opposed to Walker's election pledge to balance the state's budget and eliminate collective bargaining rights for most public employees. Voters supported Governor Walker's fiscal responsibility enacted by the legislature. However, the reality of how the recall will impact public employee unions in other states remains to be determined.
KCSG.com asked its readers whether union workers should receive higher wages and better benefits than non-union workers. The non-scientific poll of 6,733 respondents showed: 77-percent responding said "No", 13-percent said "Yes" and 10-percent said they didn't care.
