    (Cedar City, UT) - Southern Utah designated hitter Kevin Kline has been selected as a member of the 2012 “Louisville Slugger” Freshmen All-American Baseball Team.

    The Las Vegas, Nevada, native emerged as a dangerous bat in the Thunderbird lineup the past season posting a .280 batting average and ranking second on the team with 10 doubles. Kline also drove in 15 runs and scored 16 more while recording a .477 slugging percentage.

    Kline also earned first team all-Summit League honors after collecting three homeruns and 11 RBI in conference play.
