The announcement by Lyle Cox, Executive Director of Human Resources of the Washington County School District, said Rich will replace Kevin Pedersen, who had requested reassignment. Rich was serving as the Assistant Principal of Hurricane High School.
Sheri Fisher was named the Assistant Principal at Hurricane High School replacing Rich. Pedersen replaces Fisher as the Assistant Principal of Hurricane Intermediate School.
The Board said it's confident that Rich, Fisher, and Pedersen have the unique knowledge, skills and ability to create an environment for high levels of learning, collaborative education, and a shared vision of values and goals in their new assignments. The board looks forward to their leadership in their new assigment, the announcement said.
