The event started Wednesday, June 11th and continues through Sunday, June 24th. The Joining Forces activity provides for Mesquite police officers to work in cooperation with North Las Vegas and Henderson Police Departments intended to promote traffic safety.
Mesquite Traffic Officer Justin Goodsell said, “We have several officers participating in this event traveling to Henderson and North Las Vegas. Mesquite will have officers from the participating agencies assisting us in Mesquite."
The Joining Forces activity is funded by the Nevada Department of Public Safety and Office of Traffic Safety. The Nevada Office of Traffic Safety, a Division of the Department of Public Safety (DPS), is the federally recognized highway safety office in the state of Nevada.
