    (Cedar City, UT) - The Bureaun of Land Management, Cedar City Field Office has announced it will accepted sealed contract bids for commerical nut gathering for Pine Nuts on BLM administered lands located the Indian Peaks and Monountain Home Ranges.

    Bids must be submitted to the Cedar City Field Office Forester by no later than 2:00 PM (MDT) August 10, 2012. gathering permits. This includes pine nut gathering on BLM administered lands located on Indian Peaks and Mountain Home Ranges. (Gathering Pinon Pine Nuts)

    All submissions must be written sealed bids only. Submissions require a security deposit at no less than the advertised appraisal price required to participate in the bidding.

    Permits are not required for personal use gathering of pine nuts up to 25 pounds per year.

    Advertised appraisals, bid prospects, bid forms and maps are available at the Cedar City Field Office located at 176 East DL Sargent Drive in Cedar City, Utah. Interested parties may also call (435) 865-3000 for additional Information on the product, condition of sale and bidding submissions.
