The field for this year’s European Championship included talented teams from all over the continent including countries such as Denmark, Germany, Lithuania and host-country Macedonia.
Munns averaged 7.0 points per game in the tournament while playing just over 18 minutes a contest. The 5-9 guard did most of her damage from the 3-point line where she shot almost 42 percent and went 3-for-3 from behind the arc in a win over Portugal. She was 9-for-11 from the free throw line over the course of the seven game set and averaged 1.3 rebounds.
The Thunderbirds will count on Munns’ outside shooting this fall when she will be paired in the SUU backcourt with returning guard Hailey Mandelko who led the team with 42 3-point field goals last season
