  • Cedar City Firefighter Killed in Off-Duty Accident

    (Cedar City, UT) - Cedar City Fire Department (CCFD) is mourning the loss of a firefighter killed in an off-duty industrial accident while working for his employer on Thursday, August 16 in New Harmony, Utah.

    Kevin Scott Smith will be honored by his wife, three young children, and other family and friends at a viewing scheduled for Tuesday, August 21 from 6 to 8p.m. at the Greens Lake Chapel located at 1120 W, Greens Lake Drive in Cedar City, Utah. The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22 at 1p.m. at the same location.

    The Fire Department has organized a Memorial Fund at State Bank of Southern Utah for Kevin Smith for anyone that wants to assist the Smith Family.
