(Santa Clara, UT) - The American Red Cross Utah Region has opened a service center in the Santa Clara City Building (2603 Santa Clara Drive) to help people that suffered losses due to the recent flooding in Washington County. The Red Cross provides assistance with immediate needs following disasters. Assistance may include shelter, food, clothing, mental health support, health services and additional services depending on the circumstances. The service center is currently open from 9am to 6pm daily.

“We empathize with all those who have been affected by the flooding,” said Maxine Margaritis, CEO, American Red Cross Utah Region. “ We realize that any one of us, at any time, might also face difficult circumstances due to a natural disaster. We have dispatched our very best case workers to Santa Clara. The Red Cross is honored to be able to help the people of Washington County, and I strongly encourage everyone in need due to the flooding to visit the Red Cross service center as soon as possible.”
