KCSG Television - Washington City Homicide

Homicide

(Washington, UT) - The Washington City Police Department responded to a call today, October 31st at 8:46 am of a possible death in the pine view estates subdivision. Through subsequent investigation it was determined that a homicide occurred at the residence. David Benson, age 76 has been arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail, on the charge of 1st degree murder for the death of his wife. It appears that the death was caused by trauma inflicted with a blunt object.

This investigation is on going and no further details are available at this time.
