Bloomington Courtyard Burglarized
Glass windows and doors of Bridal Elegance and Keith Jorgensen's Organ Center were smashed and a fire started in the interior showroom of the organ center. Hungry Howies next door remains open while police and fire investigators continued their crime scene probe. Entry to the courtyard building appears to have been through the roof. Police are still scouring the crime scen for fingerprints and other forensic evidence to determine who the suspects may be and their motive.
Employees from Bridal Elegance and Keith Jorgensen's reported that an undisclosed amount of cash had been taken. Neighboring businesses have suffered water damage in the Bloomington Courtyard mall complex as a result of the fire supression sprinkler system activation.
Investigators have not released an estimate of losses in the early morning burglary.
