    (Cedar City, UT) - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sister and friend, Nancy Lee Garrison McClure, age 71, passed away on May 11, 2010. She was born on August 24, 1938 in Fredricksburg, Virginia to Wilson Carlin and Gladys Annie Tucker Garrison. In her youth Nancy attended the Baptist Church and sang in the church choir. She graduated from Garfield High School in Virginia. Nancy married Donald William McClure on January 20, 1962, in Reno, Nevada.

    Nancy worked as a legal secretary in both Virginia and California. She was also a school secretary, newspaper office manager, secretary to the comptroller of a baseball bat manufacturer and worked 5 years for a major die manufacturer. Her many friends and family are located in various states throughout the U.S., and she enjoyed communicating with them regularly via phone and email. She loved working in the yard tending to her flowers and garden. Her interests also included working crossword puzzles, number paintings, yard sales, spoiling her cats and dogs, listening to country western music and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

    Nancy is survived by her husband Donald McClure. Her daughter, Cynthia (Frank Albert) McClure Schnuriger, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, stepdaughter, Donna McClure of Alexandria, Virginia. Three grandchildren; Gregory Chadd, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, Jessica Wade, of Alexandria, Virginia, and Tracy Sheldon, of Alexandria, Virginia, along with two great grandchildren; Brittany and Jaxon Wade. Her brothers; Wilson C. (Linda) Garrison, Jr., of Woodbridge, Virginia., George Robert (Sheila) Garrison, and sisters Norma Pandazides of Triangle, Virginia., Rosemarie Garrison of Triangle, Virginia, and Betty Jean Hummell of Arlington, Texas.

    She is preceded in death by her parents Wilson C. Garrison, Sr., and Gladys Annie Tucker Garrison.

    Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11:00 am at Southern Utah Mortuary located at 190 North 300 West, in Cedar City, Utah. Internment will be in the Enoch City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. www.sumortuary.com
