The SUV carrying the driver and four children rolled down an embankment and landed upside down in the bottom of a ravine. Donnelly was fatally injured in the crash.
One of the children, 12-year old Cory Arnett, pulled himself and three other children from the vehicle and helped them up the embankment. He helped them find shade under a tree and asked them to stay togther while he went for help. Arnett came upon ATV riders who called 911. The children were treated and released from Valley View Medical Center. The cause of the accident is remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
