(Cedar City, UT) - The latest report on the Hot Springs Wildfire 19-miles north of Cedar City shows 327-acres have burned and the blaze is 30-percent contained. Cause of the fire is under investigation. The wildfire is visible from Cedar City, Minersville, Milford and travel corridors of Highways 130 and 21.
Fire managers are using 1 lead plane, 1 air-attack aircraft, 4 single-engine air-tankers, 1 type-3 helicopter, 6 fire-engines, 2 water-tenders, 2 heavy air-tankers and 3 hand-crews.
The Color Country Interagency Fire Management Center reports no injuries; no structures threatened and no evacuations.
